Earth Month 2024
As we glide into Earth Month 2024, we are rolling out awareness and fundraising for our Documentary Project “Can Wine Save the Planet!”
The goal of this project is to tell the stories of biodynamic and regenerative vineyards and wineries.
These are people who are revitalizing the soils and, in turn, helping to mitigate climate change, all while making better wine.
We have been self-funding our Videos on our YouTube Channel for the last 12 years. This project is too big just for the two of us. That’s why we expanded our network. We connected with a group of Winemakers we filmed in the past and then enlisted some like-minded writers to help with these stories. There are so many Rabbit holes.
Making a film like this and trying to tell this global story requires an extensive collection of people who support it, including those on social media and fundraisers.

We will need to expand our team
- Producing staff, including writers, film crew, and office staff
- Marketing, Planning, Social Media
- Rights, and Music,
- Production Expenses that include Travel, Post Production, Insurance, Publicity, Promotion, Film Festivals, and Distribution

Last year, Michael created a budget and submitted it to the International Documentary Association to act as our fiscal Sponsor. They accepted our project within a few days, and we have been developing our storylines and our core group of wineries and writers. We are now starting to fundraise for this project. The International Documentary Association is a 501 C non-profit. They will help collect tax-deductible contributions and help us fund this project.

So, can wine save the planet?
We are not talking about grabbing a bottle to forget the worries of the world.
We want to talk about the wineries who are doing things to make the planet better.
This starts in the vineyard, where they nurture the soil to protect the microbes that feed the plants and sequester carbon.
They might also use animals in the vineyard.
Maybe they incorporate riparian zones and insectaries.
Yes in so many way.
Our documentary captures these stories!
Join us by sharing our story (yes, you can find this in our IG stories!)
Or donate on our web page!
It takes a village!
Small donations like $10 or $25 will go along way to making a difference.
Be our village!
